Position papers are formal documents submitted by Member States that are meant to signal their goals before the start of negotiation. At MMUN, delegations may submit position papers for each committee in which they have delegate representation. Guidelines for writing and submitting position papers, in addition to details on how they are evaluated, are provided in the Position Paper Guidelines. The deadline for submitting position papers is Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at 11:59:59pm Central Time.
The position paper submission form for MMUN 66 will open in December 2025.
